Katelyn is nine months

Katelyn turned nine months about three weeks ago. I know I am a little late. We were extremely busy with one last vacation and then school starting. WOW, nine months, I can not believe that she is that big. When people say it goes by fast, they are so right. At nine months Katelyn is all over the place. She is a very active little girl. She does not sit longer than 30 seconds. She is crawling like crazy and pulling herself up. Lately, she has been going from couch to table. I think she will be trying to walk really soon. She still continues to love to eat EVERYTHING. There is not one thing, we have tried, that she did not like. I am sure that time will come. She now understands how to use her sippy cup, but also likes to throw it on the floor. Her sleeping is ok. She usually gets up once during the night, either to be held or she wants to drink some milk. There are some nights when she sleeps through the night. She has started babbling and she is a drool pit. We still only have two bottom teeth at nine months. Her favorite books to read are the Spot books. When the stories are over, she cries because she wants us to keep reading them. For the most part, she is still a very happy baby girl. She only cries when she gets tried around nap time and bed time, other than that, she is smiling like crazy. I can not wait to see what the next couple of weeks bring!!!

9 Month Pictures

I wish she would have smiled more, but she was impossible to make smile and sit still. Oh, well that is what I get from a nine month old.

Table Food!!!

Katelyn finally had some "real" food for dinner. She ate some noodles and cooked carrots. I think she got more of it on her clothes and highchair, but it was her first time and she enjoyed it!
Working really hard to get it into my mouth

YUMMY

Skyping with Oma

Every few weeks, we are around and Oma is around and we Skype with her. Katelyn was very interested in Skyping this time. She was looking at the screen....she was smiling and "talking" to Oma.  We will see you in a few days Oma!!!
