Holding my own bottle

Recently, when Matt and I have been feeding Katelyn her bottle, she tries to hold it. I know it is not on purpose, but it is quite funny.

Wednesday in Tampa..........

On Wednesday Matt, I, Benny, and Katelyn were on our own, because everyone was either working or at school. We decided to head to the beach. We went to this island called Honeymoon Island. Not sure why that is the name of it. We took Katelyn into the ocean and she loved it. I thought it was a little chilly, but it didn't seem to bother her one bit. I think she is going to be a swimmer when she gets older.

Tuesday in Tampa....

On Tuesday, the boys went to the Phillies and Pirates baseball game. The girls went shopping in Hyde Park and out to lunch. We also hung out with our cousins Tracey, Jon, Addy, and Josh. We had dinner at their house on Tuesday night.

Monday in Tampa....

On Monday, we swam some more in the pool and hung out around the house. The girls went to the mall and the boys went fishing. Shaun was the only one who caught a fish. He caught a puffer fish in the ocean. Everyone thought that was pretty cool.  We also had a cook out on Monday night. It was great to eat, drink, swim, and visit with family!!!

Sunday in Tampa.....

On Sunday in Tampa, we went to church in the morning and then headed out on the boat all day. Katelyn did not go with us, because it was choppy and we were in the sun all day. We saw SO many dolphins and they were extremely close to us. It was so exciting to see them up close to the boat. We had a picnic on the beach and swam in the ocean. We love the warm Florida weather!!!!

Our Trip to Tampa

Our first family vacation was wonderful. We got to spend a lot of time in the warm Florida sun! It all started on Friday night. Our flight left from Chicago at 9:00pm and got into Tampa at 12:30am. I was a little nervous with Katelyn flying, because I have heard that sometimes it bothers their little ears. But to my surprise she was an angel. She slept the whole way there, not even one peep on the plane! We stayed with my cousins who live in Tampa. Shaun (my brother) also lives there as well. We had a lot of family time with everyone! That Saturday we spent the day in the pool and at baseball games.

Four Months Old

Katelyn turned four months old three weeks ago. We have been very busy these past three weeks and I have not had a chance to post her four month picture with her bear. Matt took her to her four month check-up and she now weighs 13 pounds and 7 ounces. She is 25 1/2 inches long. I can not believe that she doubled her birth weight already. Katelyn has been so much fun this past month. She is rolling over like crazy. Every time I put her on the floor, she rolls over right away. She recently figured out how to push herself back over too. She also is obsessed with blowing raspberries, and once some laughs at her she continues to do it! Katelyn also likes to hear herself, she can get really loud with her screams, but they are happy ones. She loves her babysitter Mrs. Rosa and all her new friends. All the girls, especially this little girl Maggie love to take care of her. We are headed on Friday to Tampa, Florida. This will be Katelyn's first plane ride and first vacation I am sure we will make a lot of memories.
