New Years Eve

This year for New Year's Eve we celebrated it with Barb, Joe, and Kevin. We decided to head to the Brookfield Zoo, because they have the festival of lights going on. It was not to cold out and we thought that Katelyn would be fine if she was all bundled up. We left the house around 4:30, that gave us about three hours to walk around the zoo. We got in for free and went to the dolphin show for free all thanks to my Uncle Don. He works at the zoo and he has that perk of getting family in for free. The whole time Katelyn was in her stroller all bundled up. We enjoyed walking around and looking at all the lights and Christmas trees up. The zoo was decorated so pretty for Christmas. We saw a bunch of animals as well. The dolphin show was one of our favorite parts and plus it was nice and warm inside. The zoo also had a laser show that went along with Christmas music. All in all it was a very fun time, we hope to go next year as well.
After the zoo we headed back to Naperville to go out to dinner. We decided to go to Red Robin, because it is never crowded there. We enjoyed some hamburgers and fries and then headed back to the house. We tried to stay up until midnight, which we did..even little miss Katelyn decided she wanted to as well. We rang in the New Year and then headed to bed. We enjoyed our 2011 New Year's Eve Bash! (HA)
