The Walnut Room

One of our Christmas traditions, is eating lunch in the Walnut Room at Macy's in the city. We started this tradition, once Katelyn was born. We head down for lunch to eat around the tree and then Katelyn picks out ornaments and now Noah too! We had a PERFECT day this year!!

Baking cookies with Amo

Kates and Amo baked cookies today. Katelyn helped roll out the dough, pick which cookie cutters to use, and put sprinkles on them. She loved making cookies and doing everything all by herself. Now, she is waiting for them cool off, so she can taste her own baking!

3 months

Noah is now 3 months old. He is still having his gas pains and very colicky. He has been starting to smile when we play Patty Cake with him or clap his hands together. It is the cutest thing to see a smile on his face! Noah still sleeps through the night (knock on wood). He has become more content for longer periods of time. I can put him on his play mat or in the swing and get something accomplished. This is a major accomplishment, because in the beginning I could NEVER put him down. I started back at work, so we are still getting into the routine, but so far it has been going well. I can not wait to see what this next month brings........no more gas pains???

Decorating the Tree

Katelyn helped me decorate the tree on Sunday. She was really interested in hanging the ornaments on each branch and doing it all by herself! Little Miss Independent....

Taylor the Elf

I introduced Katelyn and Noah to Taylor the elf. She is our elf on the shelf. I know Katelyn isn't suppose to touch her, but Katelyn wanted to hold her. We read the book together about the elf. I think she will get a kick out of finding the elf every morning!

Katelyn's Minnie Party

We had Katelyn's 2nd Birthday Party with family and friends on Saturday. It was a packed house, but a great time. Katelyn got a million gifts and we are so grateful for all of them. She is truly loved a lot!!! Happy 2nd Birthday Katelyn!
